• Be wary of companies that will promise you guarantees against cracking. We live in an environment where freezing and thawing occurs in the winter and summer months. Shifting of the earth’s surface is unpredictable. Although we try to take preventative measures such as control cuts, these guarantees are unrealistic.
   

• Beware of sub-contractors. In order to truly understand and produce a cement project, one has to be fully involved in all design plans.  5 Star Cement works with our customers on all levels. As owners, we design, estimate and construct all projects.  Thus, we foresee the job from start to finish.
   

• Be cautious of showrooms. A product in a showroom is constructed in a controlled environment. Such an environment is unrealistic. There is no weathering, salt, sun exposure and acid rain to wear the product.
